Well now therapy is my song. And I’ve known it all along
You see my pencil takes me far, along with the sounds of my guitar
Now it’s not that I need to run, cuz my journey’s just begun
I’d like to say whats on my mind, but brother I just aint got the time

I got such a long long way to go
No matter if I win or place or show
There’s still alot of things I’ll never know

Well in the hills above this town. I’ll have a better look around
It’s gonna kill me once I see, the home that once belonged to me
But when it’s over I’ll stand tall, cuz no one really cares at all
It seems I don’t know right from wrong, so now it’s time to move along

Every time I look for answers I’m swallowed in my prime
Would it be better to write in a letter that I’m wastin all my time
I hardly recall if I’ve been here at all cuz I’m movin way too slow
Perhaps it a sign that I block from my mind
But my blood still seems to flow and my love still seems to grow

Well on a road beyond this town, the people barely make a sound
Its not the journey that I fear, but that it all may disappear
I may not keep the things I find or the life I left behind
But when I’m ready I will know I’ve still got a long long way to go
